Hello All!

We are so excited to share our new adventure with you all as friends, family, and colleagues. We all come from a variety of travel backgrounds-- some of us are well seasoned travelers while others of us have never been on a plane! Similarly, we come from a variety of majors such as Psychology, Neuroscience, Sociology, and Environmental Studies. Nonetheless, we are very well prepared under the guidance of our professors, Dr. Schratter and Dr. Schmied.

The purpose of this class is to expand our world view of child welfare, specifically in the United States and Switzerland. Each of us has taken a specific topic to research before and during our trip (e.g. child nutrition, education and gender equality, child disabilities, etc.). We are so fortunate to have been invited to The World Health Organization, The United Nations, The Red Cross, The International Center for Teacher Education, and more (see full itinerary soon)!

With all of this being said, we are anxiously awaiting our departure! We greatly appreciate all of your support and cannot wait to share our journey with you. Stay tuned for more information!
